Overview
Geffen Records is a college class project, not the record label. The assignment: build a brand and full packaging by hand for a made-up tea company called Akupatea. The goal was to make it look like a real, sellable product, using only basic tools and materials. There was no budget for a second try if something went wrong.
Contributions
The full brand and packaging for this class project came together by hand. A shiny box became the base. Matte black spray paint, a sheet of tacky film, and an X-Acto knife finished the design, all cut freehand with no machine tools. Only one shot was possible: there wasn't enough spray paint or film left to redo a mistake, so every cut had to work the first time. No current site exists for Akupatea, since it was never a real business.
