Overview
Transit Labs began as a dynamic company focused on providing innovative analytics and technology solutions to transit authorities through a SaaS platform. As a partner in the company, my involvement was unique and foundational. The primary objective was to establish a compelling brand identity and a user-centric Transportation Application Platform (TAP) that would transform how transit agencies manage data. This effort was a blend of strategic design, operational excellence, and a vested belief in the company’s mission. The success of these initial efforts laid the groundwork for the company’s continued evolution and subsequent domestic and international success in new ventures.
Contributions
My contributions as Creative Director were pivotal and wide-ranging. Beyond the standard design and operations, I directed the comprehensive branding of Transit Labs and its core product, TAP. This included designing a user-centric interface that made complex data reporting and validation intuitive and accessible. I drove brand consistency through identity, copywriting and experience sessions and created standard operating procedures. Crucially, my work extended to contributing time in the company, making its success a personal investment. This deep commitment to the project's brand, design, and operations was instrumental in the company's growth, leading to its adoption by major transit authorities and its eventual success in the global market.
